Shabana Azmi Honored With Padma Bhushan; Manipur Registers 40% Polling Till Noon

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi, who has been rewarded with the Padma Bhushan, India’s third biggest civilian award, says she is very pleased and contented.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was all thrilled about working on YRF's forthcoming flick to be directed by Manish Sharma. But, the film has been pushed by around five months.

Manipur registered 40% polling till noon today as voting continued at a fast speed with people coming out in big numbers to elect a 60-member assembly in spite of a string of bomb blasts during the last one week.

Clarifying that his party was really serious about fighting corruption and that there was no place in the organization for such components, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi admonished on Friday that it would be curtains for those indulging in such practices.
